Management Team

Murtala Aliyu started his career with Associated Cost Consultants in 1986 as a Partner. He is currently the Chairman of ACC and also an Executive Consultant with Afri-Projects Consortium all based in Abuja. With almost 3 decades of experience in managing complex projects, he has led the successful delivery of several infrastructural development initiatives for clients across the country including World Bank, African Development Bank, Nigerian Ports Authority, DFID, Bauchi, Kwara, Zamfara, Kebbi, Kaduna and Sokoto State Governments to mention a few. Murtala Aliyu is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Chartered Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Member, Nigerian Institute of Directors, UK, President of Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and Vice President, Quantity Surveyors Registration Board (QSRBN). He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he also obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration.

Abubakar G. Garba joined Associated Cost Consultants in 1988, he became a Partner in 1996 and currently holds the position of Managing Partner at the firm. Over the past 26 years, he has handled various large projects for the firm which include NPA Headquarters, Abuja (now Defence House), EFCC Head office complex, Yar’adua House, Kaduna and many others.

Abubakar Garba was an external examiner with Federal Polythecnic, Kaduna between 1998 to 2002, Assistant Secretary General, Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors from 2008-2009.

He graduated from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with B.Sc Hons in Quantity Surveying in 1986 and also a Masters degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy in 2002 from the same institution.

Amos A. Gandu became a Partner with Associated Cost Consultants in 1996. His responsibilities include the supervision and implementation of various projects and also coordinating the activities on the office for the overall achievement of the firm’s objectives.

He served as the Special Assistant to Executive Governor of Kaduna State on Education and Housing and Special Technical Assistant to the Hon. Minister of State for Power and Steel.

Amos A. Gandu is a graduate of B.Sc in Quantity Surveying and a Masters degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is a member of Associates of Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyor (ANIQS) and Registered Quantity Surveyor (RQS).
